Holly Heath
About the Artist
Holly Heath grew up in a small mountain town in New Hampshire, where a love for nature first sparked her creativity. She began receiving recognition for her artwork as early as third grade, earning a “Georgia O’Keeffe” award, and continued to participate in art competitions and exhibitions throughout her school years. She later studied illustration, Photoshop, and cinematography at Lakes Region Community College.
Today, Holly is both a fine artist and photographer. Rather than viewing these as separate creative pursuits, she uses each to strengthen the other. Her camera helps her discover beautiful compositions, light, and fleeting moments in nature, while painting allows her to reimagine those scenes through expressive color and texture.
Inspired by the woods and the natural world, Holly is drawn to bold colors, dramatic contrast, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments. Whether she is painting a woodland scene or photographing a playful dog, she looks for emotion, atmosphere, and storytelling in every image.
Holly is passionate about studying color theory, composition, light, and cinematic moments. She enjoys creating work that feels vibrant, timeless, and immersive, while continually refining her skills through observation, practice, and a lifelong love of learning. Whether she’s hiking with her camera or standing at her easel, her goal is to create images that invite people to slow down, look closer, and find beauty in the world around them.
Artist Statement
God’s creation is my greatest inspiration. Whether I’m hiking through the woods with my camera or painting in my studio, I’m constantly searching for moments that make me stop and say, “Wow.” Through photography, I capture those moments. Through painting, I reimagine them with bold colors and contrast. My hope is that my work inspires others to slow down, look closer, and appreciate the incredible beauty that surrounds us every day.
